THE 75 HARD CHALLENGE KICK-OFF
yay! today is ‘the’ day we kick off the 75 hard challenge … let’s go!
snowman is an entire mood. i am sure this will be me as i attempt to workout outside [deep sigh]!
…just want you to know that 20 mins before 2.15.2022 i found myself stuffing valentine's day vegan cookies in my mouth. i couldn’t dare let them go to waste nor could i have them sitting around tempting me for the next few days — lol!
anyhow, y’all i thought i’d be a little more prepared than i am, but time has been flying by crazy fast. nonetheless — i am sticking to my word and starting this challenge as planned. the first few days may be a little hectic as i still need to go grocery shopping and mentally get prepared for these outdoor workouts, but i do have a few things in my toolbox that i can share with you all if you’re interested in adding it to your schedule for the challenge this week or at a later date.
remember!, it is mind over matter. this challenge actually includes things, in my opinion, that we should already be incorporating into our daily lives — maybe not to this extreme, but healthy eating + exercise fuel your temple. when your temple is well taken care of you can literally conquer the world!

march 25, 2018 | brrr! shamrock shuffle — let’s pray it isn’t 20 degrees again in march!
week 1: two workouts a day!
remember one has to be outside. workouts should last 45 mins each. there must be at least 3 - 4 hours between your two workouts.

day 1: (1) brisk speed walk to the lakefront + (2) yoga FLOW
day 2: (1) brisk speed walk to the lakefront + (2) cardio ab blast by jeanette jenkins
day 3: (1) brisk speed walk to the lakefront + (2) weight lifting
day 4: (1) brisk speed walk to the lakefront + (2) yoga FEEL GOOD FLOW
day 5: (1) brisk speed walk to the lakefront + (2) cardio treadmill [run/walk]
day 6: (1) brisk speed walk to the lakefront + (2) power vinyasa flow yoga
day 7: (1) brisk speed walk to lakefront + (2) CARDIO KICKBOXING BY JEANETTE JENKINS

SMOOTHIE BOWLS: MANGO, STRAWBERRY, PINEAPPLE, AçAí, CHERRY — TOPPED WITH BLUEBERRIES, raspberries, COCONUT, GRANOLA, AGAVE, STRAWBERRIES, bananas, etc.
BUDDHA BOWLS: I MAKE MINE WITH BAKED/ROASTED SWEET POTATOE AND ZUCCHINI + SAUTEED KALE AND ONIONS + quinoa TOPPED WITH YUMMY LEMON TAHINI DRESSING. HERE ARE A VARIETY OF RECIPES FOR THE BUDDAH BOWLS AND my favorite LEMON TAHINI DRESSING.

RULES
workout 2x a day for a duration of 45 minutes each — but one workout has to take place outside
drink 1 gallon of water — remember no alcohol, sugar drinks, etc. [you can have diet soda, but it doesn’t count towards your gallon of water intake]
read 10 pages of a book [let me know what you all plan to read in the comments]
eat a healthy diet — no junk food, fast food, etc.
no alcohol + no cheat meals [i have total faith in you]
take a progress picture daily — because #hotgirlsummer is approaching
